Go for the grant

Most of Irelands homes are too cold – that’s a fact. If you’re not properly insulated, you’re wasting money and wasting energy. The Government’s Home Energy Saving Scheme is designed to help, offering grants to homeowners towards the cost.

Who can apply?

If you own your home and it was built before 2006 you can apply for a grant to insulate the roof, walls and floors. The maximum grant is €4000.
