Nothing could be simpler than installing Rockwool volcanic stone roll. It's designed to accurately fit betwen 400mm centre ceiling joists

Rollbatt is supplied pre-cut in 2 sizes:

• 400mm wide x 100mm thick for laying between joists
  
• 1200mm wide x 170mm thick for laying over joists
